About the event
Join Iya Funlayo, Ase Ire, and special invited guests for a panel discussion on African and Diasporic Religions (ADR) and HIV. Key questions to be addressed: How is HIV continuing to affect people of African descent, broadly and ADR communities specifically? How does sexual shame, homophobia, and transphobia contribute to the spread of HIV among African-descended peoples? What can ADR faith leaders do to help reduce stigma, educate on prevention, and provide care to those living with HIV? Co-sponsored by Black Faith + HIV, KOSANBA, ILERA, and the African and Diasporic Religious Studies Association (ADRSA). Register here: http://tiny.cc/adrhiv
